There are very few changes to the 2021 Buick Encore. Buick dropped two of the four trims for the new model; gone are the Essence and Sporting Tour trims, leaving the base and Preferred trims. Buick added two exterior colors from which to choose: Cinnabar Metallic and Dark Moon Blue Metallic.
The Encore still comes with a host of tech features, including an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by IntelliLink with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and onboard Wi-Fi. Navigation with weather updates and live traffic is an option. The six-speaker audio system is standard and comes with USB, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. You can also choose a Bose premium stereo with seven speakers.
In 2020, Buick released the Encore GX as an all-new vehicle. It is a sub-compact SUV with plenty of space for both passengers and cargo. It offers up a peppy turbocharged three-cylinder engine option and handles very well on the road. The Encore GX is a small crossover and finds itself positioned between the subcompact Encore and compact Envision.
For the model year 2021, the Buick Encore GX received very few changes. Buick did add an exterior molding kit at the LPO trim; the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto is a nice touch, and SiriusXM satellite radio is now standard on all models. In addition, adaptive cruise control is available on the Preferred trim; it is a part of the optional safety package.

The Buick Envision is a crossover SUV that seats five and fits nicely in regards to size between the Buick Encore and the Buick Enclave. The 2021 Buick Envision is wider, lower, and more visually appealing than its predecessor. There were no significant changes to the 2021 Buick Enclave, with only a few minor changes to report. Buick dropped two exterior color options, Champagne Gold Metallic and Dark Moon Blue Metallic, and they also dropped the air ionizer. There are no new features or options at this time.
